Blocked apps open anyway

The guard is probably off. Open Holdout: if it says "The guard is off", tap Turn it on, then in Android settings open Installed apps (or Downloaded apps), tap Holdout and switch it on. Some phones (Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus) also stop background apps to save battery: allow Holdout to run in the background in its battery settings.

My friend didn't get the invite

Open your squad, tap Invite, and send the link in any chat. They can also type the 8-character code in the app under Join with a code.

Someone keeps breaking our streak

Hold out again within 24 hours and the streak comes back (we call it rekindling). Every 7 days held earns a freeze that covers a missed day.

Holdout+ isn't showing

Go to You › Holdout+ › Restore purchases, signed in to Google Play with the account you paid with.

Report a person or a name

In a squad, tap their name, then Report or Block and leave. Reports come straight to us. For anything urgent, email us.
